New Year

I'm glad to be posting a little something.

We made (read: I made for everyone including myself) some new year's resolutions.

Can I ask just one thing- Why do we only make resolutions in January? Why not make a single new resolution each month? I think this approach might make sense. Instead of trying to turn our whole life upside down and inside out all at once, I think it might be a little better to make one new change per month. Don't feel like you're doing enough to change? Fine. Make a new resolution every two weeks.

Anyways.

I have set a few new goals for myself- only one of which I will share now.

It is my intention this year to have a perpetually clean kitchen.

What does that mean?

Well, my dishwasher is loaded after every meal, the extra pots are washed, the counters are wiped, the floor swept and at night, the dishwasher runs.

I think this is going to be great.

That way, I never have to apologize about the mess my kitchen seemed to be in perpetually last year!

Here's to a clean sink- if your sink isn't clean, nothing else looks clean(ish) either.

At least, that's how I see it.
